Exceptions: The weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years the rate is $1,195.
RENTAL PERIODS: During our high season (late May - early November), our rentals have a one week minimum and run on a Saturday to Saturday schedule. The weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years also have a one week minimum, but we are flexible on when the week begins. However, if you see that the time you are interested in is only a few days away and is currently available, we may make an exception.
Weekend or daily rentals: We have a one week minimum rental except during the off-season (January - April).
Additional charges: This property is our personal vacation home and our primary concern is that it remains in excellent condition and minimize even normal wear and tear. One of the common causes of wear and tear is the normal handling of luggage in the arrival and departure process. This is an inevitable part of any guests visit, whether it be for one night or the entire stay, whether the guest is an infant or a senior citizen.

infants) $100/guest/week; $20/night for daily rentals Haywood County Development Occupancy Tax(4%) Spa use fee: $50 to cover the cost of electricity and cleaning; $50 for the first week and $25 for any additional weeks, assuming the spa is only cleaned once, upon your departure. Cleaning fee is based on the actual charge from the cleaning service. This is done to encourage renters to leave the house as clean as possible and to have the charge reflect the actual work required. The typical cleaning fee is $100. Any credit or additional charge will be reflected in the deposit refund.
Outdoor spa The outdoor spa is not operational from November through April, due to potential extreme weather conditions and the possibility of freezing. We learned that lesson the hard way, to the tune of over $3,000!

Children: We welcome up to two children, each child must be at least ten years old. Infants prior to crawling age are permitted.
Reservations: A reservation is made by sending an e-mail which indicates the dates you would like to arrive and depart, the number of people in your party and the ages of any children. Once the request has been granted and a rental agreement has been sent to the guest, the reservation is held for seven days, allowing enough time for the rental agreement and deposit to be sent by mail. If the rental agreement and deposit are not received within the allotted seven days, the reservation is subject to cancellation. Reservations for periods greater than one week require a 50% advance rental payment in addition to the $500 deposit. Deposits & Payments: A $500 security/damage deposit is required to secure a booking and will be returned within thirty days of departure, provided the home is left in its original excellent condition. Please note that for bookings longer than one week, a 50% advance rental payment, in addition to the $500 deposit will be required. The remaining balance, plus the cleaning fee is required one month prior to arrival. If booking is made within the 30 days prior to arrival, the entire amount of the rental, including deposit and cleaning fee are to be sent via a next day delivery service.
Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation occurs during the time the owner has received the deposit, but prior to receiving the rental payment, the deposit will be forfeited, unless a new booking is secured and a successful rental is obtained. If a cancellation occurs after the owner has received the deposit and the rental payment, the entire rental amount is forfeited, unless a new booking is secured and a successful rental is obtained; however, the deposit will be refunded regardless. In the unlikely event that the property should become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the owner has the right to cancel a booking and return the renter’s deposit and, or payment without further liability to the owner.
We advise cancellation insurance to cover for any unseen circumstances. Companies providing coverage include: Travel Guard and Access America.
